Learn to Fly CPL

CPL
(Commercial Pilot's Licence)

The Commercial Pilot's License entitles you to 'fly for reward'. To be paid to fly, in other words.

This stage of your qualifications is largely about building on your previous experience, and you will complete a number of commercial navigation exercises. Whether you are Australian or visiting from overseas, this is an excellent opportunity to explore the country as you accumulate the required 70 hours as Pilot in Command.

As you progress through your CPL training, you'll also need to pass theory exams on Principles of Flight, Aeroplane Performance and Operations, Engines, Systems and Instrumentation, Navigation, Meteorology, Flight Rules and Procedures and Aviation Medicine. By now, you'll be more comfortable with CASA's exam format, and the tests shouldn't cause you too much trouble.

Now you're ready to really spread your wings as a professional pilot
